Jon Courson's Application Commentary: New Testament by Jon Courson
The Foreword by Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel, Costa Mesa, California, notes that in spite of the many commentaries on the Bible that are available, "it is hard to find a good devotional commentary" that brings both "understanding and life" to each passage. He likens this text to the method of community commentary indulged by the Hebrews of Nehemiah's day, described in that book, chapter eight, as gathered together to read and give the "sense" of its meaning.

This work only treats the Books of the New Testament. Includes a "Topical" Table of Contents.… (more)
