While serving in Iraq, Dantzler’s unit found and adopted three orphaned puppies. The dogs went on missions with the soldiers, walked the fence lines and lived with them in their barracks. After 15 months of living and working side-by-side with the dogs, Dantzler knew he couldn’t leave them behind so he contacted SPCA International and arranged for all three to be sent back to the states. Join us for this funny, heartwarming and inspiring presentation of how Dantzler and his fellow soldiers got Iram, Blackjack and Pathfinder successfully to the states –and meet Iram, the Iraqi-born Anatolian Shepherd mix still living with Dantzler.
