Achmat Davids

Achmat Davids (1939-1998) published extensively on the heritage, culture and language of the Muslim community of Cape Town, South Africa. His numerous publications include Mosques of the Bo-Kaap (1980), The History of the Tana Baru (1985) and Pages from Cape Muslim History (1994).
