Published by Anvil, Fast Food Fiction contains over sixty short short stories, written by Filipino writers (the likes of Butch Dalisay Jr., Cyan Abad, Jaime An Lim). These short stories average around six to seven hundred words, and can be devoured in a few minutes. So for those who hate to read long stories or stories of more than four pages, this book is for you.

Personally, I think this book is perfect for Filipinos who want to read instant fictions, similar (in length) to Inquirer's Youngbloods Anthologies . Among the interesting stories included in the anthology are Pamanhikan, Driving with Dad, The Night My Father Cried, Son and Ninong Tells a Story. These stories have potential to become longer pieces of stories, but as a short fiction - they offer a teaser into one's life, struggles, and drama.… (more)
