Book Title: The Mogul
Author: Vish Dhamija
Genre: Thriller/Fiction

Book Title:
The title ' The Mogul ' is unique and interesting. Based on the author's previous work, it's not very hard to guess that this book might be a political thriller.

Book Cover:
The cover is a beautiful image of a man seeing the bird's eye view of the city from a window. The author's name and the title are embossed and it feels quite good when the reader actually feels it.

Plot:
The story starts with the news of the murder of a couple, where the murdered woman happens to the ex-wife of the protagonist. Prem Bedi, the protagonist, a rich businessman is all set to finalise a business deal in the country of Korea and as he set to travel, the news of the murder comes to his notice. He without any hesitation visits the place of the murder and thereon lands himself into a trap of false claim, that he killed the couple.

The next sequences of interrogation, case filing, courtroom sequences are found to be very interesting. The author has managed great with ample effort to maintain the mystery and the suspense. What really happened? Who killed the couple? Why was Prem being framed? To know the answers, please read the book.

What I like:
1. The storyline
2. The narration in the first person
3. The courtroom scenes
4. Many interesting twists and turns
5. The mystery throughout the story has sustained.

What I didn't like:
1. I could identify a few words that are not really a part of the actual English Vocabulary, but they have evolved during conversations among the people. If these words have not been included, it would have been much better.

Characters:
Every character in the story seemed to be pretty interesting and gave a feeling like watching a visual -fiction thriller.

Narration:
The beautiful narration in the first person is a definite hook point where the reader doesn't lose interest in reading the story.

Language & Grammar:
Fine language and good grammar are sued, with few glitches.

My Final Verdict: A thrilling read from our own John Grisham!

Review Headline:
Exciting and entertaining!

What to expect?
Expect a legal thriller with lots of interesting sequences
Expect a story that has emotions and action.
Expect a story that shows the ugly side of politics.
Expect a story that has all elements to entertain the readers.

Who can read?
This is a perfect book for those readers who love Courtroom dramas. Author Vish Dhamija is a master storyteller, and his books are absolute entertainers. A person new to reading can happily pick up any of Vish's books to have a taste of good writing. Thus, this book Cold Justice is a must-read!

My Thoughts
Author Vish Dhamija, Our John Grisham is back with a new courtroom story! 'Cold Justice' is the story of Akash Hingorani, a famed defence lawyer who fell instantly for Judge Shilpa Singh during a trial in court. After a while, their relationship that was going smooth ends abruptly with Shilpa's confession. The novel starts nine months after their break-up when Akash receives several missed calls from Shilpa. And an enquiry with his friend Vansh reveals that Judge Shilpa has been arrested on a murder charge. Akash takes the first step to prove Shilpa innocent and how he does is the story!

As a fan of courtroom stories, this book is super good. I will recommend the book!

Grammar & Vocabulary
Author Vish Dhamija's books always have content-rich stories with rich vocabulary and perfect language. His stories are not only just for reading but for learning too! His books, especially this book, have some most acceptable words that make the book look ultra-rich!

Writing Style
Visha Dhamija has a unique style of writing. His stories open with an exciting encounter between the characters. Each character in his story has enough space. Now, in this book, Cold Justice, the main characters Akash, Shilpa, Priti, Vansh and other characters like the MLA or the cab drivers in the initial chapters, everyone is given ample space and strength to be inclusive in the story. The details and the pace of the story complement each other. Every page in the story thrills the readers. In the chapter, when Judge Shilpa gets arrested, the Author, through Akash, explains to his readers the actual concept of crime. And some phrases like C'est la vie or phenomenon like Baader-Meinhof are beautiful to read. Thus, the book is informative too!

What did I like
1. The plot
2. The writing
3. The engaging narration
4. The characters

What could have been better?
The book is a perfect ala-carte for the readers!

Entertainment quotient
An absolute entertainer in terms of story, writing and narration.

Being a big fan of John Grisham's legal thrillers, I have wished many times for similar books set in India, and Vish Dhamija looks to be the answer. This is the first book by him I've read and I hope to read more.
Unlawful Justice is a crime thriller with a theme relevant to the prevailing status of crimes against women. Starting strongly with an assault by a spoiled rich boy on an underage girl, the plot escalates into a murderer mystery of sorts before ending with a courtroom drama. The plot is fast paced with a few interesting twists and I finished it in one day. The presentation of the courtroom scenes and legal points feels authentic. The lead characters are well turned out and realistic; only the hero, Akash, seems too good to be true.
On the downside, I feel that there is not enough of a fight in this novel; apart from the initial tragedy, the good side seems to be sailing through with only minor hurdles in its way. I would have liked the powerful, dangerous Maninder to exercise his power and make his opponents work hard for victory.
Still, I'm happy to have made the acquaintance of this author's work and look forward to reading more Indian legal thrillers.
