{My thoughts} – Wilma is a small witch and she is having trouble finding her place in the new Halloween celebration. It is quite similar to the situation that was happening to Mae her mummy friend in the book The Littlest Mummy.

Wilma goes from family member to family member trying to find her place. She doesn’t have a whole lot of luck. On the day of the celebration both Wilma and Mae figure out what they need to do in order to be helpful during the celebration.

This book is well done and it helps to show that even if you are little, you still have the potential to be an extremely beneficial helper. I look forward to reading more books in this series in the future.… (more)

My thoughts} – A sweet Halloween themed book about a little mummy that doesn’t feel good enough to join in her families traditional Halloween dance. The words within the pages match up nicely with the incredible illustrations.

Mae goes from family member to family member trying to get better at the dance. Eventually she gets frustrated and goes for a walk. While she’s out walking she meets a young witch that is also having similar problems.

The two become fast friends and do their own special thing at the Halloween party.

I recommend this book for any young child that feels lost and is just trying to find their place. Sometimes it’s easier to try and do the same thing that everyone else is doing, but more often then not its better if you do your own thing, because in the end it will help to make you much happier. And that’s what Mae had learned throughout the pages of the book.

The book by brandi Daugherty shows historical fiction in a Childs book through the use of culture and history behind the story of the pilgrims. The children would learn about thanksgiving and the history of thanksgiving.

Scout is the smallest dog at the dog park, but everybody knows her! She's quite the detective too! Each chapter presents a little mystery for Scout and her friends to resolve, and is packed full of adorableness! Young readers will adore these sweet animals and will easily be glued to this book.

The pictures that go along with this story are adorable and cartoon-y. It was a great vibe and fit super well with the story.

Overall, this book is super cute! It's for a middle grade audience who loves animals.

Three out of five stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and Andrew McMeel Publishing for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.
