Neal wil talk of his new book - Rare Bird of Truth. Do steel yourself, gird your loins, up your medication and roll with the punches in the wildest literary rollick since Patricia Highsmith's Talented Mr Ripley and the most harrowing tale of tainted love since Zoe Heller's Notes on a Scandal. Should be a fun afternoon! Neal Drinnan was born in Melbourne, Australia, sometime in the 1960s. At seventeen he abandoned caution and family life for the lure of life's more ephemeral things. He has worked in publishing and journalism for many years. He is the author of four novels-Glove Puppet, Pussy's Bow, Quill and the LAMDA award winning Izzy & Eve-as well as The Rough Guide to Gay and Lesbian Australia. Readers who find themselves shocked by the morality of his tales should perhaps spare a thought for the author and his diligent research. Drinnan is generally polite, well-spoken, and well-read (although not necessarily well-behaved) and-like vodka in tonic-he mixes freely and sometimes even glows in the dark. (trackbianca)
