Each year the group Concord Reads chooses a book (or an author) for the entire city to read and discuss. This year their theme is immigration, and the books under discussion will be Funny in Farsi and Laughing Without an Accent. The author, Firoozeh Dumas, will be speaking in the Concord High School Auditorium at 7 PM, and we'll be there selling books.
