‘Brave New World of Self-Publishing’ Presented by William Edgerton Norwalk Author of ‘Wine Killer’ at Norwalk Public Library “Brave New World of Self-Publishing’ is a combination author and self-publishing event at the Norwalk Public Library presented by Norwalk author William H. Edgerton and Norwalk Professional Fine Artist Sandy Garnett on Thursday evening, October 4 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Auditorium with a wine tasting courtesy of WineNation. Bill Edgerton will share his insights on how to publish – and sell – that book on which you’ve worked so hard, or contemplate writing followed by a question and answer session. Edgerton is a Norwalk author and wine expert who self-published his Connecticut Jake Halsey wine mystery, Wine Killer. Learn practical information about agents and publishers for budding writers, invaluable insights about how to publish your own book and get it printed along with expert advice on how to market self-published books. The importance of book design and cover art in getting your book ready for print will be presented by Sandy Garnett. He has just self-published another of his books ‘The First 1000 Paintings of Sandy Garnett’ - a pictorial chronology of his First 1000 Career Paintings. Edgerton and Garnett will also briefly discuss their own books and sign copies that are available for purchase. Part of the purchase price will be donated to the Norwalk Public Library.
