Reyna Eisenstark

The book Different Kinds of Land describes what landforms are. Landforms are formed by nature and are located at different places on Earth.There are several kinds of landforms. There is a short story in the book called Climbs. This helps the reader learn more about mountains. I give this book four out of five stars because Reyna Eisenstark does a good job of providing students with vocabulary of hill, landforms, mountain, plain, valley, farm, and ocean. There is a short story that connects well with the vocabulary. I would use this book for a writing lesson with a Venn diagram. Students can compare and contrast a mountain and a hill.… (more)
