Hammered (Steel Country, #1) by M.J. Fields
Oh Gage, you dirty talker! Phoenix you feisty, take no shit, pretty girl. They were great together. The book had a few boo boo's and wasn't as "smooth" as other's I've read. However, it really kept my interest and I read it really fast! It had lots of interesting side characters. I'm off to see what else MJF has out....yes, it was that good IMO!
I have been a fan of MJ Fields since the Steel books. Getting a chance to read Hendrix did not disappoint. I really liked the main characters Hendrix and Livi. Their relationship was just awesome and they were perfect for each other. Livi's panties obsession was probably the best part of the book. I loved every pair she wore to empower her. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book because of Cobra in the 3 Caldwell books. I changed my opinion of him pretty quickly after starting this book and actually liked him alot by the end. Now his Angel in the book Lo was alot harder to understand but after reading what she went through in her life had me automatically rooting for her. It sucks we won't see there characters in Use Me but their epilogue was perfect for them.

There were parts of this story that I struggled with often because of the cohesiveness of the story. However, the characters became important and I needed to find out more about them and how the future l0oked for them. That says something about the author if she can make me so invested that I look past some problem areas.
The steam is OFF the charts and the characters were very unique. I recommend this series for anyone looking for OTT pierced and tatted men and their love for feisty and unique women.
This boxset also included Forever Family and Family affair in addition to Jace, Cyrus, Zandor, and Xavier's stories. It was a nice bonus since it did not show that in the blurb. I look forward to reading more about the spinoff series.… (more)
