British atheist and philosopher who debated Thomas B. Warren (church of Christ) in a four-night oral debate on the existence of God at the Coliseum on the campus of North Texas State University in Denton, TX on September 20-23, 1976. However, in 2004, he announced that God probably did exist and he wrote a book published in 2007, "There is A God: How The World's Most Notorious Atheist Changed His Mind."
