A basic review of what Christian beliefs are and how to live them. Uses many modern editions of the Bible for quotes, as well as published authors of Christian literature. The chapters are only 2-4 pages long, with much sidebar material.

It's not very often I give a negative review. But in this case... I'm willing to make an exception.

I expected thought provoking, perhaps sentimental even. What I got was the same old, same old.

Mostly I was reminded of the weak-minded who often cry out "Why me, God???" when bad things happen.

I for one could not recommend this book to anyone even seriously contemplating purchase. Instead, simply pick up your Bible. The answers are much clearer, concise and to the point than this rhetoric.

I give this one a thumbs down.
