This book is odd because its not quite a children's book but its 90% pictures so its an easy read. It was a fun book to look through but it didn't have much else to offer other than pictures. If you stubble upon it at a book store or library, look through it before you buy it. It could be worth it to buy or it could once-is-enough book.
Being dioramas constructed from building blocks, each of which illustrates a noted feature or stereotype representative of an American state, accompanied by a whimsical caption, often in the Far Side tradition. The arrangements are creative and the jokes and puns hit more often than they miss, though I found a few rather bewildering. It all makes for an enjoyable, slight hour of fun.
