Audrey is obsessed with the flaps in this book. As she gets older, it will be good to highlight the different shapes and patterns and numbers (basically do the extension activities suggested). But for now, we pant when she sees a dog. ;)

Storybook & Seek-and-Find Activities

Daisy is a cat that has been adopted from a pet shelter and the easy reader story introduces the reader to Daisy's new family, including Henry the dog, who she thought she would never like.

Simple read. Mostly just saying WHERE cement mixers go rather than the processes it does. Would have loved to see cement actually mixing with water or them cleaning the barrel at the end of the day, rather than just SAYING it.
