We can’t wait to get back on the road again – bringing some of our favourite writers to regional Victoria. We’ll be packing up the car with books and authors, travelling from country to coast … and making sure Melbourne doesn’t get all the literary fun.
Raimond Gaita’s memoir, Romulus, My Father, is a much-loved Australian classic – and the subject of a multi-award-winning film. He’ll talk about Romulus, ‘a profound meditation on love and death, madness and truth, judgement and compassion’, and his recent memoir, After Romulus.

Raimond Gaita has published widely to academic and non-academic audiences. In 2009, the University of Antwerp awarded Gaita the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa ‘for his exceptional contribution to contemporary moral philosophy and for his singular contribution to the role of the intellectual in today’s academic world’.
