Slaves to Desire by Eli Gilic Early Reader Review: There was fair warning that this was adult content, but I requested it anyway because of some of the artists and writers listed. The first few chapters were pretty graphic—to the point of becoming boring, but when the stories began to have more substance, some of the ideas were quite engaging—I especially liked Van Gogh’s musings on his life and art. I don’t think I’d recommend it overall, but if just a few stories could be isolated, there could be something to be gained.… (more)
