Gravity Goldberg

From the start of their collaboration, Gravity Goldberg and Renee Houser have been deepening their ideas about how teachers make decisions each day. In the years since they worked together as staff developers at Teachers college Reading and Writing Project, they have each gone on to found show more professional development organizations focused on literacy-Renee's on the west coast, Gravity's on the cast coast. The constant in all their work is to model for teachers how to develop classroom communities of readers, writers, and thinkers that thrive on student choice and voice. What Do I Teach Readers Tomorrow? reflects the authors' work in schools, their conversations, and a friendship built upon thousands of miles of swimming, biking, running, and crossing triathlon finish lines together. show less
