This work is by two of the television show Hee Haw's Honeys, written in four parts two each by Victoria Hallman and Diana Goodman. If you are a fan of Country Music, Elvis, Buck Owens, Holly Gossip or Nashville News, this book will be for you. It is hard to discuss it without giving away some of the spoilers contained within its cover. It is a easy read and a real page turner, you never know what the next page will bring. It was like reading a TV reality show, before there were any. All the diverse players it mentions, Movie Stars, Behind the Scenes Deal Makers, even musicians and hanger-ons, all that makes this a truly good read.
A great book for the 50 and over crowd, students of late 20th century Hollywood and Nashville culture. The entertainment industry, and even the beginnings of the use of video in the music industry. Would make a great College Reference book too.
