Wonderful ideas, tons of pictures, very easy-to-follow instructions. Perfect for both people who are intimidated by the idea of getting into gardening and people who already have green thumbs. I plan to implement many of the projects in this book.

children's nonfiction; crafting/sewing. I'd recommend this for older children who already love to sew and are looking for a good variety of grown-up looking projects. Instruction of sewing basics is minimal--for a much better primer, try Andria Lisle's Sewing School.

As an inspiration this is a good book, as a book to borrow from a library and to look through, a kinda pinterest book really. Not a book I would give as many stars if I had bought it.

Yes it does recommend many plants that are useful for small spaces and makes you think about using other types of containers and about thinking outside of the box, or inside many boxes. But I'm not sure that it's a book I'd like to own, a lot of what's in it is stuff you see regularly on Pinterest, it's a book that feels like an expanded Pinterest board in some ways. Not to say that this is a bad thing but it just doesn't make me want to get a copy.

Worth reading for the inspiration but it's very much a borrow not a buy for me.
