When this book was written it would have been perfect. But it hasn't kept up with current helmet lights. Twenty seven pages are wasted on details of lighting no longer in use and zero pages on the most common lighting today, LEDs. Likewise there is no mention of the current types of rechargable batteries.

The remainder of the topics are still very good, so I rate the book well worth reading, and even owning.
