- Sarah Hawley is a co-host of The Wicked Wallflowers Club podcast and the author of A Witch's Guide to Fake-Dating a Demon (Berkley, Spring 2023). She has an MA in archaeology and has excavated at an Inca site in Chile, a Bronze Age palace in Turkey, and a medieval abbey in England. When not dreaming up whimsical love stories, she can be found reading, dancing, or cuddling her two cats.

It was all fun in games until I realized it was published Reylo fanfic. Is that a petty reason to DNF a book? Yes, but I'm an adult and that ship is gross.
This was a cute bit of fluff. The demon was like Angel during his soul era but even more of a soft boi. The relationship is the main event in this book, had some spice.

The Story:
This is my first book from this author, and it will not be my last. It was everything I love about characters in a story. Oz and Mariel were super cute together. I loved Mariel’s friends and how they supported her. I had a great time in Glimmer falls and can’t wait to go back.
