Not, perhaps, hugely interesting to those outside of the field, but Henslowe's Diary is one of the most vital documentaries in the study of Elizabethan theatre, and what a stunner it is! Thank goodness Henslowe existed to chronicle the properties, costumes, copyrights, and general facts about the theatre of Shakespeare and his contemporaries. Maybe one day we'll be able to go back in time and find out exactly what a "cloak for to go invisible" looks like...
