I would call this a crochet book for the masses. Most of the hats were constructed with worsted weight acrylic, a type of yarn that is affordable and readily available at every craft chain store and Wal-Mart in the country. If you or your teen are fans of hip-hip and r&b music, then you have seen many of these styles on your favorite artists. The first pattern I plan to try from this book is Queen, a stylish head wrap. My 15-year-old daughter is partial to a fedora-style hat in the book called Superfly. I'm looking forward to checking out the author's other book.… (more)
