Trent and Eden, two complete opposites who find themselves wrapped in this tug war of staying away yet craving each other attraction. When Eden shows up at Trent’s club refusing to leave until she gets the interview she was promised, he knew she didn’t belong, but he loved the fierceness and innocence of his “kitten”. Trent thinks his past defines him, makes him a monster that doesn’t deserve any good in this world so he keeps his distance as much as he can from Eden yet there is something about her that keeps drawing him back in. The push and pull between them is so tangible you can feel it in your bones while reading it. Eden is all that is good in this world, she loves hard, works hard, and believes in forgiveness and redemption where Trent thinks his demons will always haunt him, so he doesn’t deserve her. I don’t want to give too much away because this story is unique and epic in its own way. I loved the brothers, everything they worked hard for, the love they had, and the way they always had each other’s backs. At times the descriptions on some pages were repetitive or too much that I had to go back and make sure I was reading what I thought that it became distracting at times but once I got to it, I was fine. There is so many feelings in this story that I loved and kept me on the edge waiting for the shoe to drop and when it did, I surprised by some things yet guessed the others. Overall, this was a great start to a series I know I am going to love and can’t wait to see what is in store for us next.… (more)

This story is one that is emotional and have you reading to see what will happen next. Aster and Logan have a history and one night at a poker game he is playing he gets blind sided by the girl of his past. Logan wins the game and Aster as they both get reacquainted old feelings, painful truths, and so much more comes out but is it too late for them? I love this series and each brother is amazing in their own way and I honestly thought that Logan would have more of the fun laidback guy we saw in the previous books, but that was just his way of masking his pain and didn’t get to see much of it in this one. Overall, this was another great read in the series and getting to see all the characters in previous books always makes me smile, if you’re looking for an intense emotional read this is definitely one for you.… (more)
