The story on this book is so interesting. I found this book in a stack of books at the Rectory at my church. I thought it was going to be a soft romance novel or something ... I didn't know what to expect -- a romance novel some little bitty had left one day? When I opened it and the first chapter is group sex and so graphic ... I was SO concerned because I *do not* like smut! The next ... large group of chapters I read cautiously, so afraid I was going to come across more graphic, pointless sex!

I ended up loving this book! Absolutely loved it! I definitely have to look for this author again when I go shopping for more books! Utterly fabulous. I'm going to describe it as "Memento"-isque (know the move?). It doesn't necessarily go from beginning to end ... There are no real "chapters" as much as there are "books" and years! (That has got to be the best part!) You start in 1978 and you start in 1969 ... and you bounce back and forth as the characters discuss their memories from 1969 until the present.

LOVED this book!

And then, the ending isn't really shocking ... It's, like, the saddest ending, ever! In a way, this wonderful suspenseful novel becomes, like, a love story ... It was wonderful!
