Addison Jane

Sacrifice by Addison Jane is the 1st book in her Exiled Eight MC: Detroit Chapter series and what a way to start. I first learned about Hawk in the Twisted anthology and Reign anthology and was hoping she would make it into a series. Hawk is the V.P. of the MC and he's had to overcome alot. Some she still hasn't from his childhood trauma of being raised in a religious cult. Yes this is a MC that goes against a religious cult that is really twisted. He finally got away from them when his Uncle Bishop, the President of the club, saved him from near death at their hands. He has nothing to do with any of them now except for his twin sister. Hawk is your typical biker all about riding, drinking, and women until one day Missy shows up at the clubhouse for one of his brothers. She was a mama bear in full force and had to teach one of his brothers a lesson and I have to say he deserved it.
One look at Missy and Hawk knew she was the one for him. Her fierceness, strength, and determination were just some of what he admired right off the bat not to mention she was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. The way she put his brother in his place showed him she was Ol' lady material. So he tracked her down like a usual alpha man does. Missy had her own hardships though trying to raise a daughter. She got pregnant at 17 by a guy who was a loser and just used her. Her parents didn't want to have her shame in their family name because of her fathers career ambitions so she was kicked out. Since then she has been on her own trying to survive and take care of her daughter. She swore off all men cause to her they weren't worth it until she met Hawk. With determination he breaks her walls down and she lets him in. And her daughter absolutely loves him. He is more like a father to her than her own.
Then the cult he escaped came back into his life and Missy learned about them real quick. The club protects her daughter and her. Finally going after them like they should have years before. Luckily they save her before too much damage is done but it solidifies the love they have for each other. Why does it take a biker to be in a life or death situation with his lady to make him realize how much he loves her and can't live without her? Stubborn alpha men, I tell ya.
In this book we are introduced to alot of the characters in the MC that I hope we'll meet in their own books. If their personalities are anything to go by some of these men are going to be trouble and a handful when they find their own H.E.A.s. Like Bishop when he meets his daughters friend. Ohh is that going to be a good one. Addison Jane is an excellent writer with the way she makes her characters feel real. Like they could be my friends in real life. I love reading her books and Sacrifice is just another to check off my list and anticipate more to come! Definitely check this one out!… (more)
