Summary: Recommended for hikers outdoorsmen, and gamers who want detailed information about using a map and compass for overland travel. Also has hints about navigation in general.

Ever wonder what those colored stakes on public hiking trails mean? This book tells you in detail what symbols on the map and trail signify and how to use them to navigate. Also, great info on using a compass for both navigation and orienteering.
