Loved the book, but it was a little weird that the hero is described as blond, yet the front cover shows a man with very dark hair. :-/

I've either read this before or read another book with the same storyline. (If you read enough series romances, that happens.) Regardless, it was still good. Kind of a stretch to believe the whole story would actually happen that way, but it *is* fiction.

When a wounded marine shows up at Ruby's facility in Colorado to get and train with a service dog, he can't believe that she picked out a frou-frou standard poodle with a French Cut for him. But as he starts training with Oscar, he finally realizes that Oscar is superintelligent and picks up on his distress, saving him from falling. In the end, the tough Marine falls in love with Oscar...and Ruby

I really enjoyed this clean romance. I bought this at a local store and I voluntarily chose to review this story. I've given this a 5* rating. I loved how they were both willing to change a little bit to handle life's circumstances. Even though it was sometimes hard, they each worked at it. I finished this with a really good feeling. Onto my next.
