Being familiar with the touristy south-west coast of Turkey, I was keen to read about the less well known side of the country, albeit from 20 years ago.
I found this book disappointing. Whilst the content was interesting in places, for the most part I found this to be a disjointed series of ill-prepared interviews.
I found the Noah's Ark 'theme' at the start and end of the book particularly irritating. The opening chapter about the Ark did nothing for me - I felt that it was included purely because to facilitate this theme and the book was much the worse for it.… (more)
