Lovely vintage kids book by famous duo Eric and Lucy Kincaid who made lots of wonderfully illustrated books.
'Look Around' is a special educational book all about insects. Each page has a combination of realistic illustrations of each insect with some enchanting cartoon character representations along side. These illustrations are cute, funny and have a lovely retro feel.
This would be a great addition to a collection of vintage picture books. -- Etsy

I really like this book for two reasons: the illustrations are gorgeous and lend to understanding the text and the text is large print which is great for emerging readers. The illustrations in some parts of the text show vocaulary words so the reader can easily understand the text. The illustrations show imagination and feeling, you get a sense of who the characters are just by looking at the pictures.… (more)
