I think this was a very cute and sweet book where its mostly about family and being all together. This book was beautifully illustrated and it moved the story along so well. I think this book would be great for 3rd-5th grade students and I would definitely want this book in my classroom

This book is great for students at an intermediate level. This book is about a Chinese family getting together to eat food. The two young girls love sharing food with each other and try new things. I would introduce this book to my classroom because this book is full of culturally appropriate terms and names for foods and habits within Chinese culture. This book would be a great read for primary and intermediate readers. It follows the Sunday traditions of a family that grabs Dim Sum each week. They share about their culture, the food, and how they take turns. This book could easily be partnered with a lesson on sharing, traditions, and culture.

This book would be good for primary readers.
In this book the main character goes out to dinner with her family and is able to eat a variety of cultural food she loves while practicing patience and sharing.
This book would be useful in demonstrating how to share and be patient as well as illustrating the food of different cultures.
