Caroline Ulrika Charlotta Lewenhaupt was born in Goteborg (Gothenburg), Sweden, the daughter of Count Emil August Lewenhaupt, a captain in the Swedish Royal Navy and his wife, Countess Charlotte Caroline Gyldenstolpe. She published several books and collections of quotes and aphorisms.
