I was given this by a friend after serving her an impromptu stir-fry dish consisting mainly of Chinese cabbage. I'd been to Chinatown and was raving about the low prices of sesame oil and soya sauce. Its a far cry from that to making the kind of delicious grown-up food Adam Liaw describes.

I believe he won the Australian version of Master chef? We have only welfare TV so I've never watched it or any of the other popular cooking programmes actually. I'd better hit the book though and perfect at least one recipe - but it has to be something really really easy. Maybe Gong Bao Chicken?… (more)
