These individual strips are by and large forgettable or even outright unfunny, and despite a small handful of good ones, on the whole nowhere near as entertaining as the long-form stories in the previous volumes were.

Spoon & White is a comic book series about two policemen, Mickey Spoon and Donald White, in New York. Spoon is a trigger-happy Clint Eastwood fan and White is a gawky descendant of the passengers of Mayflower. Again, they foul up an arrest, the suspect dies accidentally, and they are suspended. They both end up stalking Courtney Balconi who is about to interview a serial killer. Things don't go quite as expected, and Spoon found next to a brutally slain woman. He arrested and jailed as the Ogre of Bronx.

Jean Létugie and Yann are satirizing the popular American serial killer myths. The story involves a pursue of escaped felons, criminal psychologists, state marshalls, references to movies and a trail of corpses. The art of Simon Léturgie is just awesome.

Spoon & White is a comic book series about two policemen, Mickey Spoon and Donald White, in New York. Spoon is a trigger-happy Clint Eastwood fan and White is a gawky descendant of the passengers of Mayflower. They pursue a voyerist who accidentally falls off from a building and dies. Their boss sends sends them to vacation. Both Spoon and White end up in a resort in Florida where the voluptuous reporter Courtney Balconi is covering a meeting of a strange cult. A group of terrorists then take all the guests as hostages, and unpredictable bloodbath ensues.

Requiem pour dingos is the first Spoon & White novel in the series. The story is a parody American crime/hostage movies and TV series, and it is quite funny at times. Similarly, the drawing style of Simon Léturgie is all about exaggeration and suits the story perfectly. In fact, it is the art that draws me to Spoon & White.

Spoon & White is a comic book series about two policemen, Mickey Spoon and Donald White, in New York. Spoon is a trigger-happy Clint Eastwood fan and White is a gawky descendant of the passengers of Mayflower. Together they are a disaster. Manhattan Kaputt starts with the duo killing their lead witness. Then, they are forced to co-operate with CIA to apprehend a terrorist threatening to blow up Manhattan. The terrorist is holding TV announcer Courtney Balconi, the shared object of desire of the two policemen, as a hostage.

The story consists of lightly veiled parody of American way of life, television shows, and Jack Bauer, and is quite funny as such. The art is a delicious combination of cartoony style and gruesome violence.
