This was an okay story for me. I liked the overall premise and the erotic scenes were well done. I think one thing that bothered me was how Kat just kept calling Tamsin “chubby girl” or referred to that a lot. Like it was the only thing Kat liked about her. That knocked it down a star for me.

A beautiful love story between an artist/white witch of mixed heritage and an apparent local handyman with disappearing tendencies. Sometimes she can reach him at the mobile number he gave her, and other times not. She meets many town residents and makes friends while working and solving his mystery. Erotica only at the end. Excellent read!
Narrated by Clay Lomakayu who is marvelous in his audio interpretation.

The big girl is shy and self-conscious at first but when the two add the clubs' hunky male bouncer into the mix, the story heats up. I was surprised at how well-developed and memorable I find the characters to be. It's a quick and fun read. My thanks to the author and LibraryThing for a complimentary copy.… (more)

Clementine’s story is similar to others in which the female character engages with a hot male ghost named Gabe. There are dream flashbacks to the time Gabe was alive and the woman he loved. It was an okay easy read but not one that I felt had something new to offer in the genre. Some of the writing seemed a bit stiff and stilted but the overall story flowed and was fine in its own way.

I received this as an advanced reader’s copy from Quality Book Works with the request for a review. It is labeled as a BWWM paranormal and mystery romance and is written in third person.… (more)
