Katherine Min will read from and sign copies of her novel, Secondhand World, which is newly available in paperback. Isolation pervades this haunting debut, a depiction of a tragedy-beset Korean-American family living in upstate New York during the aftermath of the Korean War. Min's rendering of an outsider family's tight-knit alienation is spot-on. Secondhand World was a PEN/Bingham finalist. (booksense)
