Book Review: Just Add Mistletoe Stars: 3.5 of 5 Author: Addison Moore @authoraddisonmoore Publisher: Hollis Thatcher Press, Ltd. This holiday season I have decided to read holiday books. This is my first one. Missy and her sister Holly own a bakery in Gingerbread, Colorado and the holidays are there busiest time. Missy has a nemsis names Sabrina who just happens to be the daughter of their landlords. Keeping her happy means keeping the rent low. Graham Holiday is a wealthy real estate developer who lives in New York City and happens to be best friends with Misty and Holly's brother. Graham has come home to Gingerbread for the holidays. Graham ironically rents the house next to Missy's. Missy comes up with the supreme idea of setting Sabrina and Graham up but as Missy spends more time with Graham she soon realizes what a mistake that was as she is slowly falling in love with Graham. But will Graham end up feeling the same way about Missy? This was an absolutely adorable and sweet story. A bit predictable but with just enough romance and shennanigans to make it the perfect first holiday book to read this year. #addisonmoorebooks #holidays, #holidayseason, #festive, #holidayfun, #christmas, #merrychristmas, #xmas, #happyholidays, #santaclaus, #christmastree, #christmaslights, #christmas2023, #christmasmood, #christmasvibes #christmasbooks #bookstagram #ilovetoread #igreads #MondayBooks, #MondayReads, #MondayBookClub, #MondayBookLove, #MondayBookworm, #MondayBookChat, #MondayBookSuggestions, , #MondayBookReview, #MondayBookPick… (more)

Abel and Zoey both had things from their pasts that they were running away from and it led them straight to each other. At first we get Zoey who is spying on her neighbor who likes to swim at night in the nude and of course he catches her looking. They develop a friendship but then Abel starts to see Zoey and her potential to be so much more than what she sees in herself so he takes her under his wing and shows her how real men should treat a lady. Needless to say sparks fly, drama unfolds, and secrets come out. This was such an angstu ride but not too over the top just the right amount and with equal sweetness. I love the Lake Loveless series they keep getting better and better.… (more)

Henrietta Holiday (Hattie), for short, has an adorable tan tabby named Cricket, and they live in Brambleberry Bay in coastal Maine. Hattie also has Ginger, her ruby red 1953 Ford F-100 that once belonged to her grandfather. Hattie was a librarian at the local library, but due to budget cutbacks, she needed a new job and will be the event planner at the country club. At least, that's the plan.

Hattie and Cricket can talk to one another as Hattie is a transmundane like her grandmother, and their conversations are darling and fun, and that's even before Hattie decides they should take care of Rookie, a Golden Retriever that suddenly finds himself without an owner. Add Detective Killion Maddox from the Eagle County Sheriff's Department to the mix; the fun never stops. I was so distracted by thoughts of the detective I didn't even think to mention the book club members. Just wait until you read about their evenings together.

I selected "Brambleberry Bay Murder Club" following one of Fish and Chip's recommendations. If you're unaware of who Fish and Chip are, you need to sign up for the author's newsletter as soon as you finish reading my review. Sometimes Fish and Chip take over writing Addison's newsletter, and you won't want to miss any of their news!

A recipe from the "Kitchen of Hattie Holiday Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cookies with Walnuts" is included.
