Webb, Beatrice (aunt) - Short biography
- Katherine "Kitty" Muggeridge, née Dobbs, was born to British parents living in Vaud, Switzerland. She was educated at Bedales School and briefly attended the London School of Economics. In 1927, she married Malcolm Muggeridge. They had four children and led a peripatic life punctuated by long periods of separation. In 1982, she and her husband converted to the Roman Catholic faith. With Ruth Adam, she wrote Beatrice Webb: A Life 1858–1943 (1967).
