Blizzard at Blue Ridge Inn by Pat Nichols is Women’s Fiction. Three women come to stay at an inn, expecting their husbands to join them. Little did they know, but a rude awakening waited for them. The three women found themselves stranded at the inn without knowing how their lives would collide.

Amanda Sullivan desperately wants to save her failing second marriage. Erica Parker suspects her husband of being unfaithful. Wendy Peterson early awaits the birth of their first child. A once-in-a-century storm strands the three women at the historic inn without their husbands. But a lawyer leaves them struggling to move forward after it is revealed that they were all married to the same man.

With inspiration, faith, hope, joy, and finding a sisterhood amid trials, these three women work together to make a future for themselves and their children. I loved how the author wove the stories of these three women into a beautiful tapestry that I loved reading.

As the book ended, I found myself wanting more. Hopefully, the author plans more books in this series. I know I would read them. So, if you are looking for women’s fiction, check out Blizzard at Blue Ridge Inn by Pat Nichols. I recommend it.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.

This women’s fiction starts off with three couples going to the Blue Ridge Inn. All are strangers and at the Inn for different reasons, but they all are stranded buy their husband’s. When a snow storm hits the area, the three women are stranded alone at the Inn.

I have read several books by Pat Nichols and was excited to read this one. I’m glad it is a first in the Blue Ridge series. It will be fun to read the next three books in the series. Blizzard at Blue Ridge Inn is a fabulous setting for this book. I love the blankets of snow over this town and the way the three women form a friendship that stick together. There were several twists and turns, but the one that destroys the three ladies and their marriage has to be the worst. I like how these three pull together, helping each other out as they try to navigate their life after their devastating news that ripped their marriages apart and tried to destroy their lives. The gall of that horrible man. I was happy for Amanda, Erica, and Wendy as they helped one another get over the deceit and get on with their lives. The support from each other was heartwarming.

This is a sweet story that anyone who loves Women’s Fiction will enjoy. You will also enjoy if you love good clean inspirational reads. Being the first in a series gives you the opportunity to stay up to date on the entire series. I’m giving this book Five Stars!

A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255

I didn’t expect this story to have so many twists in it. Three couples all heading to an Inn to celebrate for different reasons. They don’t know each other but will soon find out they have someone in common with each other. Each wife finds out that for some reason their husband has been delayed in meeting them there. I loved the setting and how the three women became friends. They begin to find ways to entertain theirselves when a blizzard keeps them trapped at the inn.

When it is discovered that all three wives have been deceived by the same man, I was very shocked. I didn’t see this plot twist coming at all. What impressed me was how they came together to support each other. Their finances are gone along with cars and homes but they don’t give up. How could one man be so deceitful? His disregard for others is evident as he flees the country.

As the women try to put their lives back together they form a bond that illustrates that there is good in people. I loved how they helped each other out and found a way to overcome what could have devastated them forever. Nice story about not giving up, trusting God and forming lasting friendships.

I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.

Blizzard at Blue Ridge Inn by Pat Nichols is a charming story. I was quickly drawn in and I was curious to see how the three ladies would handle their predicament. I like the author’s engaging writing style. The characters are developed and relatable. The three women are different based on first appearances (age, clothing styles, abodes), but we soon learn they have quite a bit in common. I enjoyed watching the relationships develop between Amanda, Erica, Wendy, Abby, and Morgan (and Dusty too). The women along with the teen girls will need to be strong if they are going to handle what lies ahead. The twists kept coming for these ladies. They have their work cut out for them. I like the town of Blue Ridge, Georgia. I look forward to meeting more of the friendly town residents in the next book. Blizzard at Blue Ridge Inn is about trust, friendship, strength, courage, and family. I hope the next book in the series will be out soon.… (more)
