This book was a nice one to end the series with.
Interesting, an unusual plot where the reason for all the murders is long unclear.

I liked it, but I still think that not all cases this (or any other policeperson in a book, movie or tv-series) gets to investigate needs to be solved.

Real life, personal life interferes with Fredriks investigation. It is not the thing the book leans on and that's good.

After the very good 5th episode in rhe series was this book a bit disappionting.
I would have loved an unsolved crime this time, although the ending was not over all a happy one.
It still feels a bit 'too good to be true', that these mysteries that came Fredrik's way were also solved.
His personal life is a bit less fortunate, but imho that hasn't much to do with the book itself.

Before I had time to mark it as currently reading, I am already writing that I finished it.

Loved this booknagain. Interesting, quite believable, just so ordinary. No wildly shooting cops, stunts with forendic evidence or very constructed plot twists. It's a bit in the tradition of British crime and that really makes that I like these kind of books.

Too bad I've finished it, but there's still two more to read:-)

I'm happy with this book. One that was really old fashioned Swedish (Nordic) crime.
Family matters, murders, a hazy past, all ingredients in a case that needs to be solved.
Liked it a lot and I look forward to reading the next one!
