As the title indicates, this a history of the lives of 4 prominent Native American Indian leaders from the 17th, 18th and early 19th centuries in American history. While the selection of leaders is excellent, unfortunately the book is both overly simplified (more a children's than young adult's work) and factually inaccurate and in no way depicts the true life and times of each person.
