This is a story based upon Mark Twain and his character Huck Finn. C D Peterson has created a mystery that tantalized my imagination, touched my heart in sympathy and lifted my spirits in its concern for friends. Follow retired Police Detective Gavin Carter as he tries to solve a 150 year old cold case.
I'm currently reading the book. I started reading it while I was myself on an adventure in the Andes: cycling from Lima, Peru to Buenos Aires. The book is entertaining and captivating. the only reason it gets three stars out of 5, for now, is that I didn't finish reading it. I will probably update this to give it 4 stars while I'm finished with it.
