I found this book interesting an very factual, although I have to wonder in the fast-paced world of medicine how much may be out of date at this point. This is a wonderful companion book to Gilda Radners memoir that details her experience with Ovarian Cancer. I appreciated the quotes from her book and found the medical information very accessible and thorough, though perhaps dated. This would be a wonderful book to give someone with Ovarian cancer, EXCEPT, Gilda Radner is now dead. This creates a very negative cloud on the whole text. I would only give this to someone who has ovarian cancer if they were a fan of SNL or Gilda Radner. Otherwise I would seek this information elsewhere.… (more)
