Fabulous Tucson authors Adam Rex and Kate Bernheimer will read from their new kids’ picture books. Adam’s book, Moonday, is a fantastical and beautiful story in which the moon lands in a child’s back yard. Kate’s book, The Girl Who Wouldn’t Brush Her Hair, is a wild tale of the mice that take up residence in a girl’s unruly mop. These titles are geared toward the 3-8 year old crowd, but parents (& other adults) will appreciate the stories and the fabulous illustrations.
A portion of the sales of both books will be donated to Literacy Connects, a group of volunteers, tutors, staff, teachers, parents and students committed to improving our community through literacy.
Adam Rex is the author of the New York Times bestselling picture book Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich. He has also written wonderful books for middle-grade readers and teens.
