A girl must marry someone and live in a house in order to inherit it.

Most of the film is good. Some of Lloyd's funniest bits are in it, and it doesn't have any down time. But once they finally get around to the haunted spooks part (which is just at the end), it turns racist; they put the gags on hold for some minstrel crap.

A boy meets a girl who sleepwalks; then he gets very drunk.

The drunk stuff is very funny, featuring a lot of Harold just being an ass. It's been a while since I watched Safety Last, but I'd say the building-scaling stuff in this film is better than that one - the focus here is on being funny, rather than impressing with stunts.

Not particularly funny or otherwise notable. On the other hand, it doesn't have any major problems; it runs pretty smoothly for a comedy that's not particularly funny.

Not funny. It's never outright boring, but after it was over I felt like I'd wasted my time watching it. There are about 2 or 3 worthwhile minutes out of 35.
