Damn quick read. Has all the rawness that Harold Robbins is known.
one line summary: Joe Crown, coming out of nowhere, fucks his way to glory in Hollywood and then becomes a celebrated novelist.

Humdinger of a novel.
Loosely based on Howard Hughes life and therefore it revolves around aviation and Hollywood.

This one is Harold Robbins' first novel. Raw power.

Not one of Harold Robbins better books.
I wanted something light and while this was light, the story was ridiculous. There wasn’t even much gratuitous sex, usually a hallmark of a Harold Robbins book.
