Etheric Recruit: A Kurtherian Gambit Series (Etheric Adventures: Anne and Jinx #1) by S.R. Russell, Michael Anderle is a teen, and young adult book and fairly short. It is about a girl being picked by a dog to be her chosen person. These aren't just any dogs. On this planet, these are the Queen's dogs and they are super smart and the girl can talk to the dog. Yep, most people have implants to be able to but she can without the implant. There are other things that happen but this is just the start. It is really very good. There are only a handful of dogs on the planet and they are guarded. There are aliens, weres, vamps, and more. This is a fun fantasy. Teens and young adults will love this.… (more)
