Of the books I’ve read in this genre, I found this one the most concise and authoritative. It’s readable cover to cover, and deserves a spot on the shelf for continued reference, especially for financial concepts and formulas. Like most of the other books, it covers everything from the sole proprietorship to the venture capital-funded start-up. The reader should read what applies to them.

The content is a series of essays in recent leadership perspectives. It is not bad information but it is also vague and generic. I found it is possible to often imagine the exact opposite of the stated “key factor for leadership” when referring to actual historical leaders. Worth reading but with grains of salt...

Mostly stories of post facto success framed in psychology of everyday life without reference to actual experiments and their validity.

Its interesting but not robust…
