Another easy read by this author. Good plot, good wit and humor.

An easy, enjoyable and quick read. I loved the author's sense of humor and wit, and the story had many good plot twists (not sure I loved the ending but it was probably more realistic than life where things never all work out perfectly!)

I listened to the audiobook version of this title on a long drive and really enjoyed it. I do agree with other reviewers that some parts are unrealistic, but this was still a fun book. What did annoy me was the piling on of Lucy's troubles. As if being homeless to help her drug addict son wasn't enough, she's without a boyfriend she really liked, her organizing job is difficult, and on and on. I wanted to say enough, this poor woman doesn't deserve all this bad stuff. It does work out in the end, but not without a lot of drama. I do agree, a great beach read or one pick up when at home nursing a cold. Recommended.… (more)

This book was free and I liked the cover. Also, it had an irascible old (?) artist/hoarder at the center of the novel which was a bonus for me. There were some funny moments and some serious. Overall a decent read. Definitely leaning toward, or perhaps squarely in the middle of the category, chick lit - which is not typically my favorite genre. But overall, I'd recommend.
